Why Openly?

Openly was born from the story of the founder's life.

Dexter grew up in the faith, but for a long time it felt like something inherited, not chosen. Through his teen years, his faith became private, buried, and quiet; buried under loneliness, resentment, and a search for belonging in the wrong places.

Then that changed. A retreat with Athletes In Action Canada was the visible turning point. It gave space to be honest, vulnerable, and surrounded by people who listened without judgment. It was a reminder that faith was never meant to stay hidden. It was meant to be lived Openly.

Openly exists for the person who believes and isn't afraid to make it be known. The one whose faith is real and doesn't want it to be private. Sometimes a piece of clothing becomes a statement. A first step. A way of saying: I am not hiding this anymore.
